If you’re passionate about transforming ideas into impactful narratives, thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and are eager to make a difference, we want you on our team!
About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior Video Production Specialist to join our dynamic team. In partnership with the Associate Director of Media Production, you will take a lead role in the full video production lifecycle—from concept development and pre-production planning to execution and post-production—ensuring high-quality results aligned with client objectives and business goals.
We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced agency environment, with expertise in directing, shooting, editing, and post-production. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including creative directors, designers, copywriters, and account managers, to deliver innovative and impactful media content that drives engagement and supports our clients’ strategies.
The ideal candidate is a highly skilled and creative leader with a passion for crafting engaging video and photography content.
What you’ll do:
- Production Leadership & Strategy – Take a lead role in the full video production lifecycle, from concept development and pre-production planning (storyboarding, scripting, shot lists, location scouting) to execution (directing, lighting, camera operation, sound recording) and post-production (colour grading, motion graphics, sound design, final export). Ability to oversee the entire process, ensuring efficiency and high-quality results while mentoring junior team members.
- Creative Vision & Technical Expertise – Deep understanding of brand storytelling, audience engagement, and visual composition, ensuring content aligns with business goals. Expertise in studio and on-location production, including directing talent, optimizing lighting, and capturing high-quality visuals and sound. Skilled in high-end post-production techniques, including advanced colour grading, seamless transitions, motion graphics, and AI-powered video enhancements.
- Photography & Innovation – Extensive experience in commercial, lifestyle, and branded photography, with expertise in photo composition, lighting techniques, and professional-grade editing and retouching. Stay ahead of emerging trends in video production, AI-assisted editing, virtual production, and automation tools to drive efficiency and innovation.
- Leadership & Performance Optimization – Ability to lead multiple complex projects, ensuring creative alignment with brand objectives and marketing strategies. Skilled in gathering insights from data and audience analytics to refine creative decisions, maximize engagement, and enhance content performance. Recognized thought leader with experience in mentoring, speaking at industry events, or publishing insights on video production trends.
What you’ll bring to the role:
- 8+ years of experience in video production, either in-house, at an agency, or in a freelance capacity.
- Bachelor’s degree in film production, digital media, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Expert-level proficiency in video editing software, Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom), and industry-standard production tools.
- Strong portfolio showcasing high-caliber video and photography projects, demonstrating expertise in storytelling, cinematography, and post-production.
- Experience managing production teams, freelancers, and external vendors, ensuring high-quality execution on projects.
- Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and sell creative ideas to internal and external stakeholders.
- A track record of thriving in fast-paced environments, managing multiple projects with tight deadlines, and delivering exceptional results
