About the Role
As a Communications Strategist at Operatic, you’ll architect compelling narratives that elevate brands and connect with audiences. Reporting to the Director of Communications, you’ll craft and execute impactful multi-channel communication strategies that drive engagement and business success.
In this role, you’ll blend creativity with analytics, ensuring every message is strategically crafted, data-driven, and optimized for impact. From brand storytelling and social media to public relations and SEO, you’ll oversee the full spectrum of communication initiatives for a diverse client portfolio.

What You’ll be Doing
- Audience & Market Research – Uncover insights into target demographics, competitor strategies, and industry trends to shape communication strategies. Conduct social listening, media monitoring, and sentiment analysis to stay ahead of trends.
- Brand Positioning & Messaging – Develop clear, compelling messaging that aligns with brand identity and resonates with audiences across channels.
- Content Strategy & Development – Plan, create, and oversee engaging, high-performing content across multiple platforms.
- Media & Public Relations – Develop PR strategies, craft press releases, and build media relationships that enhance brand credibility.
- Social Media Strategy & Execution – Lead platform-specific strategies and community management across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, X, Snapchat, YouTube, and TikTok.
- Email Marketing Strategy & Execution – Build, optimize, and refine email campaigns for engagement, conversion, and retention.
- Website & Digital Ecosystems – Optimize site structure, content, and user experience to drive engagement and brand consistency.
- Search Engine Optimization (SEO) & On-Page Optimization – Implement high-impact keyword strategies and refine meta titles, descriptions, and internal linking to enhance search visibility.
- Performance Measurement & Optimization – Track campaign success, analyze data and continuously refine strategies for maximum impact.
- Reporting – Build and present strategic plans and results to key stakeholders, including clients and the CEO (on our own brand).
What You’ll Bring to the Role
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field
- 5 years of experience in communications, marketing, or public relations, preferably in an agency setting
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful multi-channel communication strategies
Technical & Strategic Expertise:
- Audience analysis, competitive research, and trend forecasting
- Brand voice development, copywriting, and storytelling
- Media relations, press release writing, and pitching
- Social media strategy, execution, and community management
- Influencer marketing strategy
- Email marketing (list segmentation, A/B testing, automation)
- Content management systems (CMS) and marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Mailchimp, Hootsuite)
- Performance tracking, analytics, and client reporting
