Associate Director Of Performance Marketing

Who You Are

An associate director that can lead a performance marketing team, paid media professionals and agency partners while collaborating with multiple teams (Client Service, Creative, E-commerce and Marketing) across the company to drive Operatic Agency business goals forward. You are a visionary with an eye for the complete customer/buyer experience and a deep understanding of marketing analytics, ensuring digital and paid advertising are best in class and perform optimally where campaigns are executed with end-to-end visibility through the entire sales cycle.

Your Skills

  • Collaborate across multiple departments, business stakeholders and executives to assess, develop and execute digital strategies, roadmaps and marketing campaigns from concept to execution, such as SEO, SEM, programmatic media advertising and affiliate marketing;
  • Develop and lead best-in-class, holistic digital experience with plans that optimize Operatic Agency brand
  • Oversee the preparation of monthly digital marketing reports and analyze the results to brief Client Servicing team and Executives on recommendations for all digital marketing activities;
  • Evaluate end-to-end buyers’ journey for digital properties and paid digital advertising analytics to assess KPIs, identify end-user patterns and make recommendations to continually improve the visitor experience and web engagement;
  • Brainstorm new and creative digital marketing growth strategies informed by data and aligned with corporate goals and strategy;
  • Define standards, guidelines and processes that enable agile delivery of campaigns that include a digital marketing component, clearly defined metrics for reporting to demonstrate lessons learned, and compelling campaign experiences ensuring maximizing the investments;
  • Inspire, lead, coach and develop a team of digital marketers;
  • Increase the impact and utilization of campaigns and programs, including implementation and localization;
  • Live and breathe qualified traffic and sales generated by working as a team to exceed our business goals.
  • On the measurement and success of campaigns, reporting, analysis and interpretation of trends.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead – Work with clients and internal teams to simplify complex marketing messages into compelling brand-driven storylines that are data driven and align with audience needs. Work towards establishing a trusted advisor relationship as the client’s brand steward. Participate in mentoring the cross-functional team to develop their brand and business thinking.
  • Facilitate – Design and run workshops designed to drive fresh thinking about brands and their positioning that springboard to creativity and innovation.
  • Inspire – Collaborate and form meaningful relationships with the agency’s creative, data and account management teams to inspire ambitious thinking throughout the process. Use your experience and knowledge of industry trends and perspectives, changing consumer relationships with categories and brands to inspire and motivate the team.
  • Execute – You will oversee the team responsible for delivering every component of the marketing strategy, ensuring we deliver a quality product/service on time and on budget. You will be required to hold team members accountable for client performance and upholding our company values.
  • Evolve – You will continually look for ways to evolve and enhance our offering as it pertains to brand & marketing strategy.

The Experience You Have

  • 8+ years of digital marketing;
  • 3+ years in a management role;
  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field;
  • Demonstrated experience successfully leading and managing web marketing, SEO/SEM, and display advertising campaigns;
  • Proven track record of successful PPC/SEO/SEM strategy and implementation;
  • Solid knowledge of paid social media marketing channels & emerging channels
  • Ability to compile and analyze search data and metrics and advise regarding campaign direction;
  • Perform click-through rate, conversion, spending and creative analysis to identify growth/optimization opportunities;
  • Expertise and hands-on experience with standard industry tools (SEO and analytics platforms), including Ahrefs, SEMrush, Streaming Frog, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, etc.;
  • Strong people management skills with the ability to manage, drive and motivate team members;
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization, from executives to team members;
  • Proven project and budget management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to be a team player who thrives in a fast-paced, matrix environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and must be comfortable with data;
  • Excellent attention to detail;
  • Strategic thinker, proactive and disciplined;
